Wedding Dress Alterations Service

See Reviews link for a vast range of brides reviews of their wedding dress alterations experience here with me along with their wedding dress images. Each and every bride i’ve met i’ve loved helping and being that small part of your wedding day. Knowing when you leave with your perfectly fitting dress, seeing your smiles and later receiving images of how it went really is a joy for me. I get huge satisfaction helping make it fit well as much as making you bespoke pieces to complete your look. See my bespoke made dresses for more of my work available.

The first step to getting your dress alterations quotation or booked in is to fill in your details on the Contact form with the date of your wedding and a picture of you in your dress or a link to your dress so I can reply with a personal preliminary quotation for the work required. This will contain all the information required from timings to prices.

At your fitting you’ll attend here at my studio in Brislington, Bristol, with your dress and shoes and any support underwear. I’ll guide you through the process of what is required to make your dress the perfect fit. Welcome to discuss any customising and bespoke items you may require too. You’d attend here ideally 8wks before your wedding date and collect around 4-6wks later. The diary is open 1 year in advance and bookings are first come first served. There is around 4 new dresses taken on each week therefore please do book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Dresses I receive from brides to alter regularly on my rail are from Oak Tree Bridal, Wed2b, The White Outlet, So Gorgeous, Nancy’s Bridal, Laura May Bridal, Rookery Bridal, Lace and Grace, The White Collection, Bridal Reloved and online such as Still White. All of which I can highly recommend as great places to look for your bridal gown for quality, budgets to suit all and service. Remember you are better off finding your own seamstress such as myself, as there’s no handler fee. Finding your dress and booking a seamstress guide you can find in my blog. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sarah
